Silver for L.B. Bohle in EcoVadis: Another milestone for sustainable management
L.B. Bohle has achieved a major success: The company has been awarded a silver medal by EcoVadis. This prestigious award recognises L.B. Bohle’s commitment to sustainability and social responsibility and confirms the company’s outstanding performance in these aspects. The EcoVadis scorecard, which includes a comprehensive assessment in the areas of environment, ethics, labour and human rights as well as sustainable procurement, was published in late summer.
Top ranking rewards sustainable actions
“The silver medal award means that L.B. Bohle is among the top 15% of companies worldwide that have been assessed by EcoVadis in the current period,” explains Tim Remmert ( Executive Director Sales). “This is an outstanding result that we as a company can be proud of”, he continues. Especially at a time when sustainability and ethical behaviour are becoming more and more important in the global economy, this award underlines L.B. Bohle’s continuous efforts to be a leader in these areas.
EcoVadis is one of the world’s leading platforms for evaluating corporate social responsibility (CSR) practices. The assessment takes into account a range of criteria, including reducing environmental footprints, fair working conditions, ethical business practices and sustainable supply chains. Companies that perform particularly well in these areas receive the coveted awards, which are recognised worldwide and play a particularly important role in supplier evaluation in the pharmaceutical industry.
For L.B. Bohle, the silver medal is not only recognition of its commitment to date, but also an incentive to continue investing in sustainable practices. “This award reflects the company’s philosophy of promoting technological innovation as well as environmentally and socially responsible business practices,” says Remmert.
Award for the whole team
With the silver award, L.B. Bohle is one of the pioneers in the industry when it comes to sustainability. Thorsten Wesselmann, Executive Director Technology at L.B. Bohle, was delighted with the award: “This silver medal is a great success for our entire team. It shows that we are on the right track and encourages us in our efforts to promote sustainable practices in all areas of our business. We see it as an incentive to do even more to further reduce our environmental footprint while ensuring the highest standards of ethics and social responsibility.”
